There is always a debate when heroes with no background put on intense, massive action shows on a big stage.

There is a misconception that small to mid-range heroes cannot play massive characters effortlessly like star heroes do and recouping high budgets is also a cause of concern.

Nani is a hero who is slowly reaching new heights in his career with each film he does.

The actor, known for playing soft and calm roles on screen, played the most massive character in Dasara.

Nani surprised the audience with his raw and rugged look, credit goes to debutant director Srikanth Odela for writing such a powerful character and presenting him in a never seen before role.

Srikanth Odela is the first debutant director to have managed to gross Rs 100 crore. His debut film Dasara received numerous nominations at the prestigious FilmFare and SIIMA awards, which is another rare feat.

The director will once again join forces with Nani for another distinctive film.

Srikanth is said to have created another one-of-a-kind character for Nani and the actor will be undergoing a new makeover.

Nani called this Srikanth Odela’s mass craze, and the actor appeared in a huge avatar with a beard and moustache in the poster of the advertisement. He was introduced as a leader.

Nani is currently awaiting the release of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, while Srikanth Odeala is busy with the pre-production of the new film together.

Dasara producer Sudhakar Cherukuri will bankroll the project which will be the most expensive one for Nani.
