The Friends star appeared to be filming a scene in which his character, Alex Levy, was surrounded by protesters who threw oil at him.

The bizarre drama recently earned a number of Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for both Aniston and her co-star, Reese Witherspoon, 48.

The Morning Show is set behind the scenes of a fictional morning news show. It follows rival anchors Alex and Bradley (Witherspoon) and often tackles topical issues such as the pandemic and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“Happy 16th indeed! I am so honored and proud of our show and all of our talented cast, directors and crew! #grateful,” she wrote. She expressed her gratitude after her show earned 16 Emmy nominations.

Last week, Aniston launched a scathing attack on Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance for his past comments about Vice President Kamala Harris. Vance’s comment in a 2021 interview has gone viral, where he referred to now-Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and several others as “childless people.”

According to Deadline, she said that America was being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable with their own lives and the choices they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.” These comments sparked a strong reaction from Aniston. On Instagram, she wrote: “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray your daughter is lucky enough to have children of her own one day.”

Trump announced Vance as his running mate during the Republican National Convention. Last week, President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race and nominated his vice president, Kamala Harris, as the Democratic nominee for the race.
