Now, an Instagram user named Shaid SK has taken Ambani’s wedding and given it his personal touch with the help of AI. The artist reimagined Ambani’s wedding if it had been held in a middle-class family and mirrored some scenes inspired by Vivah (2006), starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao. In the first photo, Anant and Radhika were sitting together in front of a fire in their traditional wedding attire. Forget diamond brooches and designer lehengas – Anant sported a cream-coloured sherwani, while Radhika wore a red sari with gold jewellery. This will certainly bring to mind the wedding scene in the Bollywood film that inspired AI’s images. In a second photo, Radhika and her sister-in-law Isha Ambani were walking down the stairs. Isha was wearing a blue salwar and her hair was styled in two sleek braids. Radhika was wearing a yellow sari.
In another picture, Mukesh Ambani played the role of the groom’s father, removing trays of gifts from the car and cleaning the guest rooms. In another picture, Radhika offered a glass of water to Anant, reminiscent of the scene in Vivah where Amrita Rao’s character asks Shahid, “Jal lenge (Would you like some water?).” Meanwhile, mother-in-law Nita Ambani was seen without any flashy diamond jewellery and smiling in a yellow Benarasi sari. She was also seen shaking a leg during the baraat, in a pink sari.

Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani. He married Radhika Merchant, daughter of healthcare technology entrepreneurs Viren and Shaila Merchant, on July 12. The wedding celebrations were attended by several political dignitaries and celebrities from around the world. These included sisters and reality TV personalities Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian.
