The box office storm called Bad Newz refuses to abate! The film starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk continues its impressive run at the box office, and is holding strong on its first Monday! Read on to know more.

Bad Newz had a spectacular opening weekend that saw the film gross 8.62 crore rupees on Friday, 10.55 crore rupees on Saturday, and 11.45 crore rupees on Sunday, for a staggering total of 30.62 crores in just three days. The film continued its furor on its first Monday. While it saw more than 1,000 60% drop in collections starting on the 3rd, the drop is the usual Monday drop that any film faces.

The film received solid recognition. 3.75 crore rupees on the 4th, bringing the four-day total to 34.37 crore rupeesshowing the immense popularity of Bad Newz.

The film performed exceptionally well in the northern territories of India, where it enjoyed exceptional audience retention. This strong performance can be largely attributed to the positive word of mouth that the film has generated. Young audiences are particularly enthralled by Bad Newz’s content, creating a strong and organic promotional push through enthusiastic conversations.

The juggernaut Bad Newz has already surpassed the lifetime collections of several films including Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s Merry Christmas, the critically acclaimed Laaptaa Ladies, Randeep Hooda’s Swatantrya Veer Savarkar and the action film Kill, which have also been eclipsed by the box office might of Bad Newz.

The film is now all set to topple Madgaon Express (37.51 crores) and the Romantic comedy Mr. and Mrs. Mahi (35.14 crore rupees). Bad Newz is on its way to entering Top 10 Highest-Grossing Bollywood Movies of 2024.

With its impressive momentum and the power of positive word of mouth from the audience propelling it forward, Bad Newz looks set to dominate the box office for the next few weeks.
