Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD has been a huge hit at the Indian box office and is still raking in money in its fourth week. Released amidst a huge buzz, the film struck a chord with the audience and comfortably became the fifth highest-grossing film in the history of Indian cinema. With the Baahubali franchise, Prabhas has garnered a huge fan base in the Hindi belt. Thanks to this, his Saaho, Salaar and now his latest release have all garnered solid overall collections. Talking about his latest dystopian epic, the film is now enjoying huge support from the Hindi version and will very soon surpass the original Telugu version in terms of box office contribution.
Kalki 2898 AD amassed an astonishing collection of 621.95 crore rupees net at the Indian box office in 25 days. Of this, a large portion 277.40 crores net has been contributed solely by the Hindi version. Most of the 280 crores The Telugu version has been provided by the network and is expected to be cross-posted with the Hindi version within 2-3 days.
In the Tamil version, Kalki 2898 AD has scored decently. 35.30 crore rupees net, followed by the Malayalam version 24 crores The Kannada version has contributed only 5.25 crore rupees net.
