Taimur Ali Khan’s nanny Lalita D Silva recently spoke about Kareena Kapoor’s parenting style and how she often calls her children on the sets to spend time with them.
Son of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan Lalita D’Silva, Taimur Ali Khan’s nanny Recently, Lalita opened up about Kareena’s parenting style. In an interview, Lalita called the Jab We Met star “disciplined” and revealed that she spends as much time as she can with her sons, Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan, often calling them on set even if she only has a 30-minute break.
In an interview on Hindi Rush YouTube channel, Lalita said, “Kareena is very disciplined and punctual. She organises her schedule and the kids’ schedule as well. She tries to spend as much time as she can with them. We would often take Taimur and Jeh to their shoots so that she could spend time with them during their half-hour or hour-long breaks. We would have lunch together during the break.”

She added, “No matter where the shoot is in Mumbai, if she has free time, she calls us. Even I used to think that even if it was 30 or 20 minutes, having her in front of them was more than enough.”
Lalita D’Silva recalled an occasion when while visiting the set of Mehboob Studios, Taimur got scared of Akshay Kumar and said, “We would take Taimur to Mehboob Studios. He once got scared of Akshay Kumar’s appearance when his film Laxmii was being shot, but there are a lot of other things that distract kids, so we would distract him and he would be fine.”
During her earlier interaction with the media, Kareena Kapoor recalled how Taimur complained about his hectic work trips and insisted on spending time with her. She said, “I feel that guys who see not only their father but also their mothers working, have some kind of respect for the fact that I can be busy too. They had a holiday today and wanted me to be home but I told them I have to go to work. Taimur told me, ‘You always go to Delhi and Dubai for work, I want to be with you. ’ I told him that work is also important and promised to come back and give him more time so that he doesn’t feel neglected in any way.”
