Renowned Tollywood director Sukumar, currently busy with the much-awaited Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, now shares the limelight with his wife, Thabitha Sukumar.

Thabitha has taken her first step into the world of cinema as the host of the upcoming Telugu film Maruthinagar Subramanyam, starring Rao Ramesh in the lead role. Announcing her involvement on social media, Thabitha said, “I am thrilled to present my first foray into the world of cinema – ‘Maruthinagar Subramanyam’, the most entertaining film of the year. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.”

The film, directed by Lakshman Karya, features a talented cast, including Ankith Koyya, Ramya Pasupuleti, Harsha Vardhan, Ajay, Annapurnamma and Praveen. Produced by Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya under the banners of BR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Cinematics, the film will be distributed by Mythri Movie Distributors LLP. Maruthinagar Subramanyam is set to hit theatres on August 23, 2024.
