Ranbir Kapoor also spoke about the equation he shared with his late father Rishi Kapoor and revealed that therapy didn’t work for him because he finds it difficult to open up emotionally.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor will open up about his relationship with his father, the late Rishi Kapoor; his wife, Alia Bhatt; and his daughter, Raha, in an upcoming episode of businessman Nikhil Kamath’s People by WTF podcast. A teaser for the episode was released on Saturday night, in which Ranbir and Nikhil are seen sitting opposite each other and discussing a range of topics. The teaser also offered brief snippets of his comments on certain unfavourable labels that he has lived with for much of his life.
Ranbir, whose equation with his dad It has been widely documented that he never had the courage to disagree with him. When asked about his childhood, Ranbir said, “My father was a bad-tempered man, but a very good man. I never saw the color of his eyes“I was always like that (he leans forward and lowers his head). I never said no.” Ranbir admitted that he is not very vocal and does not cry easily. “I tried therapy,” he said, adding, “It’s not that I am against therapy, it’s just that I have to open up. And I am very scared to open up.”

Ranbir also spoke about his love life and, without naming names, talked about the labels put on him after his two most public relationships failed. “I dated two very successful actresses, and that became my identity, that he is a Casanova. I was labeled a cheater for a large part of my life. I still am,” he said. Ranbir dated actresses Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, and was publicly criticized after an episode of Koffee with Karan in which Deepika made certain comments about him, and during the promotions of Jagga Jasoos, when he was visibly at odds with Katrina.
On the birth of his daughter Raha, Ranbir said, “It’s like someone has taken your heart out and put it in your hands. I think Raha considers Alia as a part of her. With me, she seeks masti and fun.” Ranbir is married to Alia Bhatt and has received flak from certain quarters of the internet for his perceived behaviour with her. This led him to Addressing complaints about being a “red flag”They worked together in the film Brahmastra and are set to work together again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.
