Ram Gopal Varma slammed marriages and divorces on X-rated. His posts came after Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic announced their separation.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma shared cryptic posts about marriages and divorces soon after Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic announced their separation. In an interview with X, the Rangeela director felt that marriages are made in “hell” while divorces are made in “heaven.”

“MARRIAGES are done in HELL and DIVORCES are done in HEAVEN,” she posted before adding: “I wonder if today’s MARRIAGE actually lasts as long as the number of days the parents perform the MARRIAGE.”

RGV then said: “A paid nurse is a much better option than getting married to take care of him in old age… The nurse will do it as a paid job, while a wife will make the old man feel eternally guilty.” He added: “LOVE IS BLIND and MARRIAGE OPENS EYES.”

The director also said, “A marriage can only work if you have the extraordinary ability to fall in love with the same person over and over again.” He concluded his series by saying, “Considering the sky-high divorce rate today, the biggest idiots are the poor parents who spend so much money on the marriage.”

Her statements came after Hardik and Natasa announced their separation. The couple, who had three wedding ceremonies, took to Instagram and shared a statement regarding their split. “After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have mutually decided to part ways. We did the best we could together and gave it our all, and we believe this is what is best for both of us. This was a difficult decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew as a family,” the statement read. The couple has a three-year-old son, Agastya.
