Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) enjoyed another magnificent weekend at the Indian box office. On Saturday, the film saw a massive surge of over 150% and again yesterday, it earned a solid number. As a result, it has comfortably surpassed the lifetime domestic collection of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi’s Tiger 3 in 32 days. Read on to know more!

After two back-to-back flops with Radhe Shyam and Adipurush, Prabhas bounced back in a big way with Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD. Especially in the Hindi space, the superstar has carved out a space for himself by enjoying the response, something that is not even the case with several big Bollywood stars. According to the latest developments, his latest release has given a push towards the 300 crore club in India.

On Friday, Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) saw a dip due to the release of Deadpool & Wolverine and earned Rs 0.76 crore but the next day, it registered a huge jump and it made Rs 1.92 crore. Yesterday, the film again showed growth and at some centres, there were capacity issues during evening showings. By the end of the 32nd day, it added an estimated collection of Rs 2.98 crore taking the total to 286.95 crores net at the Indian box office.

With Rs 286.95 crore, Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) has surpassed the lifetime domestic collection of Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 and Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. Released in 2013, Dhoom 3 did a business of 284 croreswhile Tiger 3 ended its journey in 286 crores after arriving at Diwali last year.

The next big milestone is to reach the 300 crore club. The film will definitely lose pace from today, but still, it has a slim chance of reaching three centuries with its Hindi version.
