The fashion police have their eyes set on the FDCI x India Couture Week 2024, which kicked off earlier this week. On the third day, Malaika Arora filled our style cups with fabulous fashion and in the post-show discussion, she heaped praise on the designer by admitting that she felt like nothing less than a “fierce goddess” as she played the role of Siddartha Tytler’s muse. The designer’s creation included a stunning black lehenga with a low-cut blouse featuring a daring keyhole cutout. The shimmering gold designs on the skirt brought in additional drama. Rahul Khanna, who shared the stage with Malaika, did not disappoint either. With his equally impressive dapper style, he donned a navy sherwani, embellished with gold embellishments and paired the silhouette with fitted trousers. All of these were part of the designer’s Caligula’s Feast collection, which was inspired by the Roman Emperor Caligula.
In the post-show discussion, Siddartha Tytler spoke at length about how Malaika and Rahul were the perfect candidates to showcase his creations and also how Malaika’s blouse was defined after a series of selections from a variety of designs. Watch the video below for all the details.
