ISTANBUL TRAVEL VLOG | Blue Mosque & Grand Bazaar

it is our first real full day in it simple and we are so excited it’s the most perfect weather I just wanna be outside all day we’re putting I’m going to see a few of the big sites like the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar but besides that we don’t have mini plans that’s head just wander around and see what we can find in this incredible city [Music] of course the first thing on our agenda is food these little red stands are fall over the city they’re so cute and then look okay get one of these is it just playing such great snack I just reminds me a lot of pretzel gram but it has these toasted sesame seeds on top of it it’s gonna give me energy to walk around they also sell more than circle bread at those little kiosk it’s really like a mini bakery I got some cinnamon filled pastry we call these circle breads but I think they have a different really good one this is this is average the circle bread is better [Music] [Applause] Blue Mosque was supposed to be our first drop of the day but it is closed for the next two hours for prayer time so we’re just gonna have to come back sounds like a great excuse to go find some kebabs me [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] a place for lunch we brought our drone to the middle of the Hippodrome oh and that’s why we couldn’t go into the mosque that is good stuff that meat is so good it’s one of the most beautiful meat spinner things I’ve ever seen I don’t know what you call that [Music] [Applause] we spent long enough enjoying the sunshine in the Hippodrome after lunch that the Blue Mosque is up it now we actually came here last time we were in Istanbul but the inside was closed we weren’t actually able to go in it and now we have to first thing that you’ll notice about the Blue Mosque from the outside is it’s not actually blue apparently it gets its name from the thousands of blue hand-painted tiles on the [Music] [Music] inside of this Blue Mosque is definitely beautiful I love the tiles but unfortunately it’s still under construction so they have all these fake pillars and there’s this big ceiling blocking the full experience that’s kind of sad but at least I got to see one [Music] they use the blue scaffolding for the construction to match the rest of the interior next up we are heading to the Grand Bazaar and we had planned on stopping for a traditional Turkish coffee these are so American so huge in America I already had three Turkish coffee breakfast [Music] all the guys here are super creative with how they gets your attention there’s been a lot of the standard excuse me where are you from but I just heard what about all-time favorites is that excuse me how can I tell you something that you don’t need really enjoyed like the truth behind that yeah they are really fighting here so inside of the Grand Bazaar there are over 4,000 shops and it’s one of the largest covered markets in the world it’s super impressive we got to come here on our tour last time but we didn’t have very long so we’re just embracing we’ve been wandering around for me just in hell I’m not even sure that we’ve scratched the surface though we keep ending up seeing the same shops I somehow just walking in circles it’s just so great seriously the building is beautiful I love all the arches in the old guitars like the original brick amazing I shouldn’t be getting this in the middle of the whole thing we finally pulled ourselves out of the market it’s been at least two hours but though wandering continues we’re going to make our way towards the water so good [Music] [Music] it is absolutely beautiful right now the Sun is setting it’s turning into gold now or on this bridge there’s all these old men fishing their normal it symbol is seriously turning into one of my favorite places I feel like it’s one of those cities it just hasn’t everything like there’s culture the architecture is beautiful the water is beautiful Asia is right there like all those white buildings on the coast it is just the coolest now we’re gonna go find some dinner which is another thing we love that Istanbul the food wow this is like shooting at the waist and it feels amazing I think the guys really really there’s been a hundred and sixteen degrees the past few days for us so this feels fantastic sandwiches as fast they were selling these underneath the bridge who are having our second picnic of the day with the fishermen it has been such a great per say in the sample [Music] we were totally just planning in the vlog there but we were scared some of you would take this as a recommendation these fish sandwiches are not good it’s the fish is super fishy and there’s massive bones like they’re way too big d and how are you supposed to pick the bones out when it’s inside of a sandwich we’re going about something else even the Franco starving okay thanks you just got really serious there’s one other place that we saw today that looks really yummy these guys were just shaving off this pork that was being freshly cooked on the street we have to find them for dinner but as you can see everywhere it’s closing we’re scared they’re not gonna be there and this symbol is basically one big hill I’m running uphill nope no one is around all of these rope and earlier [Music] America sungchung yeah very good Barack Obama George Bush Bill Clinton modern problem Obama very available to good we love it simple nice to meet you it’s round [Music]
