Avika Gor, who is currently promoting her upcoming film Bloody Ishq, opened up about her relationship with Milind Chandwani in a candid manner on Harsh Limbachia and Bharti Singh’s podcast show. The Balika Vadhu actress met her beau in Hyderabad and fell in love with him at first sight. The actress also shared that she is married to him in her head. Sharing the details of their first meeting and how Milind friendzoned her for six months, Avika said, “He is a 9-5 business guy who also runs an NGO. We met through a common friend in Hyderabad. He friendzoned me for six months. I started liking him from day one. I was very sure about him. Initially, I also agreed to be friends. Mera bhi ego agaya ki hum toh hum dost hi rahenge (I too became selfish and said let’s just be friends). But within a few weeks, I was very sure about him,” she added.
Avika recalls that when she introduced Milind to her family, the question of marriage came up instantly. “I introduced him as a friend. She noticed. I participated with him in conversations and fundraising for his NGO!” Avika continued, “I proposed to her six months ago. She is very intelligent. After six months, she said, ‘Okay, I love you too! ’ So I asked her, ‘Yeh chhe mahine kya drama kya tha? ’ and like a good guy, she explained that she didn’t want to rush things and that she would see that we really liked each other as friends and only then we would move forward.”
Avika, who wants to get married as soon as possible, said Milind wants to take things slowly and in a more mature manner. “Mere haath mein hota toh main sadhe chaar saal pehle shaadi kar chuki hoti (If it was up to me, I would have gotten married four years ago). Kuch sochna nahin tha (I didn’t have to think much). Ab jo hai yahi hai. Mere dimaag mein ho chuki hai shaadi (I am married to him in my head). But he was quite sensible. He told me, ‘You are still 26 and I am 32. Take your time to work and see life,'” she added.
Avika and Milind started dating in 2020. They regularly treat their social media followers with pictures of themselves together. Avika Gor became a household name after playing Anandi in the serial Balika Vadhu. She also played the lead role in the serial Sasural Simar Ka. She acted in Telugu films like Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki, Cinema Choopistha Mava, #Bro, Net, to name a few.
