today I get to fly Air France First Class 10 hours all the way from Paris to Miami all by myself but I’ll get to that later I cannot believe this is happening as always I could not be more excited and I’m going to take you along for every step of the way let’s [Music] go so the first class experience has already begun I’m getting picked up at my hotel right now I kid you not Air France a private driver to pick me up at my hotel in Paris very nice car I guess if you want to have a sweet Insight no way as we pulled up to the airport I was immediately swept off my feet there were multiple people awaiting my arrival who took my bags and my passport uh not going to lie the Paris airport smells like pee and leted me into La Premiere welcome Lounge I knew flying Air France first from France was a big deal but nothing could have prepared me for this or the luxury to come I’m obsessed with these jammies approximately 4 minutes after arriving the gentleman came back with my passport not only had he already stamped me out of France but he also already checked my suitcase and then told me to follow him this is nuts I feel like I’m going to a Speak Easy right now is there a secret password at the door anything so crazy he proceeded to lead me through every blocked off rope thingy that you’re usually not allowed to go through and right up to the front of the security line that took about 2 seconds then this elevator brought us into the exclusive law Premiere first class Lounge hello welome to our Lou thank you what in the world I got to the airport like 10 minutes ago and I’m already sitting in the first class Lounge sipping my second espresso all right the lounge is filling up so doing a tour is going to be a little awkward but I’m going to do my best to show you around and I’m going to eat holy cow I cannot believe this is happening um yeah Chris Hemsworth AKA Thor just walked in the lounge he’s like 20 ft away from me I don’t think I’m going to say anything I’m going to respect his privacy I’m not going to say anything and obviously if you talk to me we can chat I’m not going to ask for a selfie I’m just I’m just going to be cool I’m just going to be cool Nate would be so proud okay here’s a quick Lounge tour this is the room I’ve been hanging out in with this beautiful centerpiece and I’m going to quickly walk past CHR himsworth so he doesn’t think I’m filming him over here this whole wall is full of self-served cold snacks and drinks then this is the main dining area where you order your food just like a restaurant except for it’s free including all the drinks here it seems like there’s a private dining table if you want to be secluded from the rest of the lounge not sure why Chris didn’t choose to sit here maybe he wants somebody to come say hi hi puppy let’s go back here now how viy is this Whiskey Bar the QR code with the menu doesn’t include prices but I have a feeling these are all very expensive here’s a a quiet area for resting some shower rooms very nice and looks like you can even get spa treatments back here all right I never make videos by myself and Nate is usually the one that’s filming me so wow check out this huge menu and double wow check out Chris hensworth right behind me I promised this is the only table available and he just happens to be in the frame seriously my phone screen was facing the other way so I genuinely had no idea but I’m not sad about it I started by ordering champagne because France I assume this is a really nice bottle but I have no idea after ordering way too much to eat my first dish of an entire day of yummy French food is this beautiful Bread Basket oh my gosh Chris and I just made eye contact oh my gosh stay cool stay cool my first course of mini today is the most decadent looking cheesy bread I’ve ever seen oh my gosh having a good moment that might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten next up truffle pasta it kind of looks like adult mac and cheese and I am so here for it needs a little salt and pepper but other than that it is perfection traveling alone feels so strange I really wish Nate was here to enjoy this with me somehow it is already time to board and turns out Chris isn’t on my flight so this is where we say bye in my head I still never said anything this lovely lady told me it was time to go so I followed her out of the lounge but not to my gate yes this Porsche is driving me directly to the plane she waited till the very last minute so I can enjoy every last second in the lounge this is nuts there’s the Jet Bridge and here’s me boarding the flight all by myself it’s not quite the same when not here to film me this way welcome to seat 1 L this seat is massive okay I’m very exposed to the aisle and once again I’m feeling a little awkward so while we’re still sitting at the gate I’m just going to sit here quietly and get acquainted with my seat on this beautiful trip 7 first of all I love that I have a lamp but I do not understand how it works wow huge storage bin here’s the remote to the nice big TV screen whoops this button clearly closes the window curtains oh and this button lifts this little privacy wall oh and now I can’t get it to go back down bonjour from 30,000 ft we’re officially at cruising altitude we’re only 5 minutes into the flight and it’s already going by way too fast I thought this flight was 10 hours and my screen only says 9 sadly as you can see my seat is massive and glamorous g l a n there’s even a second seat with a seat belt across from me I guess if you had a friend who wanted to come stare into your eyes while you were eating unfortunately I do not have a friend on this trip and I’m sure you’re wondering by now where is Nate last week I actually flew Air France business class from Miami to Paris which was fabulous the longer I sit in the seat the more I love it so the fact that first class is and should be a million times better is blowing my mind but the whole reason I came to France in the first place was to go on a girls trip with one of my best friends Nate didn’t come because no boys allowed on girls trips obviously so I’ve spent the last week doing all of the best Parisian things and we went to the first first night of Taylor Swift’s European Arrow tour yes it was the best night of my life and I cannot fathom a better way to end this trip this might be the highlight of my whole trip honestly I mean it’s up there with the AOS tour let me know in the comments which you would prefer flying air friends first class or Taylor Swift Air’s tour I know what Nate would pick I can definitely smell the toilet like real bad real bad Cara from the future here so sorry to interrupt but here’s a quick sneak preview of what’s to come this place is nuts we’re living in a glass adorable baguette and two different Butters one is salted and one is unsalted I do wish n this here it’s not quite the same without him it’s really not believe it or not it is my first time ever being in a foreign country alone we’ve spent like short amounts of time apart from each other like very briefly but this is my first time getting on a plane flying to a new country by myself and don’t tell Nate this but I’ve enjoyed it way more than I thought I would even after going to 107 countries traveling for 8 and 1/2 years straight there’s just something so unique about being by yourself I do not long up here all right next up is the chilled cucumber soup with Anna seed topped with go chees not sure if I’ve ever had cold cucumber soup before okay big fan I would like to add that Nate and I are together literally 24/7 we never leave each other’s sides and I honestly would not have it any other way but at the same time I think it’s healthy to do things separate from each other sometimes for my main I got a risoto topped with zucchini and toasted walnuts and I’m not positive what this green sauce is but it smells amazing so I’m just going to go ahead and pour it what I think this might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten on a plan holy cow air Fran has outdone themselves Min just the poop smell maybe somebody out work just has gas like I would expect this at a Michelin star restaurant in Paris but I’m on an airplane for my next Cor course yes I’m still eating I have this gigantic salad for some reason salad came after the M perhaps that salad do it in France oo beautiful Mery wo dessert is a chocolate tart and this Fancy Fruit PL with these strawberries that honestly look plastic this is real life I’d say it’s about 10% bigger than your average economy bathroom I don’t really care but I can’t help but compare it to Emirates first class where there’s a fullon bathroom with a shower it was everything I hope it would be I mean that was an A380 and this is a triple S but you know I will say it smells good in here it doesn’t smell like poop so I don’t know where that was coming from the soap is really nice the sink is motion sensor so you don’t have to touch it and they’ve even included restorative body cream hydrating skin care and a gentle makeup remover with little pads plus toothbrushes I’ll also add that there are real towels did you really fly first class if you didn’t spend majority of it wearing pajamas feel like I’m opening a very important like document cute oh my gosh are these the best PJs I’ve ever gotten on a plane I think yes I have a small feeling I’m going to be wearing these all the way to my bed tonight yeah big feeling actually I’m not taking these off my fly attendant saw that I changed into my jammie so he took that as a cue to make up my bed he put a memory foam mattress on my seat that is at least 2 in thick so squishy and I feel so cozy also I can’t believe how long we’ve been on this fight and I have not opened my amenity kit yet definitely one of the nicer kits I’ve ever had I mean this thing is like branded obviously I love this the presentation cannot be beat we have an ime mask earphone covers they’re like a shower cap for the noise cancelling headphone ear things ear plugs now things get very exciting many products the first one is eye and lip Contour ball two for one eh oh oh we are at altitude and it is exploding a little bit guess I’ll go ahe and put it on my lips too I feels weird intense anti-aging hydration I do not like that stuff on my lips at all ooh this smells good yum essential anti-aging protection ideally protects against environmental aggressions and restorative hand cream wow this is a great box and we’re not even done yet cute little comb probably use a little brush oh Hefty pen and last but movies this one’s about a group of rowers in the Olympics like forever ago turns out rowing is really intense now I can’t wait to watch this in the Olympics lri Paris by the way I’m sorry this is just the kind of content you get when I’m making the video without mate random thoughts I made a proon list about traveling alone solo travel is not a novel thing I know tons of people do it but I’m still getting used to it I’ll start start with the pros I’m in love with the sense of empowerment that it gives me how I am just so independent and capable of so many things and I know that I just don’t get to practice it often but I think what I love the most is just how selfish I’m allowed to be with my time and my schedule every decision is just completely up to me and I don’t have to consider anyone else I didn’t realize how satisfying that would be I can eat whenever I want and whatever I want I can watch whatever ever show or movie whenever I want and then I can just do whatever I want but there were some cons and if you look at my list the cons are actually longer than the pros my first and biggest con currently is there’s no one to watch your stuff when you have to go to the bathroom at a coffee shop so I just kind of halfway packed my bag and like carried my computer into the bathroom and guess what I cracked my computer screen it no longer works feel like the obvious one is there’s nobody to bring me coffee in bed that was sad fear like I was just more aware of like little noises that I heard in my hotel or like just more aware on the streets just things I don’t usually have to consider on that same note ew there are so many creeps out there I just noticed way more dudes looking at me like very obviously looking at me like maybe they usually don’t or they’re more subtle about it if kns around but e uh no one to take your photos and videos selfies just only do so much that especially goes for videoing which is why I’m just rambling right now because Nate’s not here to turn it off and the last one on my list is just everything takes a little bit longer and is a little more annoying in our like business like usually Nate’s just right there and if I have a question or I need help with something I can just ask him but this whole week I’ve had to check what time it is back home make sure he’s awake then call him then we start talking about something else and like it just sucked a lot of my time so yeah those are my pros and cons of solo travel hope you enjoyed unfortunately there are only 3 hours left in this flight and I am so sad I’m going to soak in every single second and probably order some cheese and wine because why not Mercy sa sa is that good perfect Michael’s teaching me some new French fres you drinking of cheese I love it cheese from this is a this is a cam what is that summer summer thank you I did not understand a single word of that oh my God I can definitely smell the toilet it wasn’t poop it’s oh it smells like a toilet oh my gosh which one oh gosh definitely this one kind of that one too that one smells good toilet I never like w cheese honestly I’m so relieved thank you for Still Loving me through all of my imperfections so T got the 2016 bordo it’s the only thing I understood [Music] this is one of the most suspenseful endings to a movie I’ve ever seen wow great movie you’re going to have to watch it I cannot wait to have internet and Google the history versus Hollywood of this one you’d think I would pay the $18 for the internet that actually works on this flight nah it just feels silly voila chocolate ice cream just has a certain uh there’s Miami I can turn around and do it all again as usual [Music] mer are you here for me oh hey we SC you we SC you okay I’ll take it y all sure do know how to make people feel special I was like one of the first five people off the flight and then I have Global Entry so I literally just walked straight into the country like I own the place and then got to baggage claim and my bag was just sitting on the ground like no one else’s bags have even come out yet it’s like they stuck it up there with the pilot to make sure they could get it to me on time this is wild well that was it Air France first class it did not disappoint now it’s time to go back to real life I have one more economy flight from Miami to Dallas where I will finally reunite with Nate at midnight if I’m lucky and then off to some appointments to figure out what’s going on with my brain if you’ve been following along then you might already know but but currently I don’t know by the time this video
