yo what’s up everybody it’s your boy floss back again with another video and today we’re going to do a quick unboxing of the brand new iPad Pro 2024 now you can pick this one up online I’ll throw the link up in the description the price for this particular one right here starts at 1,300 bucks now it comes in 11 in or 13in this is the 13in all right so let’s go through the specs real quick now this one comes in two different colors you got silver or space black now you can buy this with Wi-Fi only or cellular service now you got a 13-in Ultra retina tandem OLED display with a resolution of 2064 by 2752 now that’s 264 for the PPI Patrol you got glass on the front with an aluminium frame aluminium back you got hdr10 Dolby Vision up to, 1600 nits brightness and a 120 HZ refresh rate for the processor now this is the biggest upgrade you got the brand new Apple M4 chip with the Apple GPU now what does that mean in English Flagship specs bro Flagship specs now you got 8 or 16 gigs of RAM 256 52 one or 2 terab of storage now on a side note if you get the one or 2 terab version you’re going to get the new Nano texture glass now this is running iPad OS 17.5 the battery life is rated at 38.9 w hours which is around 10 hours now for the cameras on the rear you got a dual setup you got a 12 megapix WI angle and a 3D lar sensor now you can shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second on the front you got a 12 megapix Ultra wide angle lens and you can shoot video at 1080p 60 frames per second now you’re getting quad stereo speakers you got Bluetooth Wi-Fi you got USB type-c 4 which is also Thunderbolt 3 and you got face unlock now this is the brand new thinnest and lightest iPad on the market this one is 5.1 mm thin and it weighs 579 G all of that for 1,300 bucks let’s unbox it and see what it is first things first shout out to White Shoes back in the building [Music] love calm down okay here we go iPad Pro 2024 this is the big boy right here now as far as the presentation nice like white box I know I like that giggity okay here we go now this is the 13inch M4 Wi-Fi only version also known as The Peasant version okay let’s see what you get inside now this is going to be woo super light okay shoes scoot scoot okay now I heard online that they took away the apple troll stickers let’s see if that’s true though okay so Inside the Box you got the usual books and [ __ ] pluck them and follow them and wow no apple troll stickers but look at this ladies and gentlemen you got the charger in the box now I heard in Europe they might not have that but in the USA we got the charger in the box and you got the USB type-c the USB type-c charging cable I shoes insect that for Quality do some work now for the actual iPad I will say this fresh out of the box it is super lightweight wow now if yall used to watch Star Trek or Star Wars back in the days y’all remember they had kind of computers like this and as a kid you always wanted one this is real life y all right shoes this this is real life look how thin this is look at batband right here super thin and lightweight let’s get him power this up okay now I set everything up but real quick there’s your volume up and down power button on the top two of your quad stereo speakers now the speakers on iPads are notoriously good so I’m expecting these to be the same this side is nice and clean this side has your magnetic connection okay for your apple pencil two more of your quad speakers there’s your USB type-c charging slot Thunderbolt 3 USB type-c 4 on the front front facing camera dual cameras on the rear all right and there’s your LED flash you got your pins on the back for connections and here it is now you do have some bezels but they’re not huge this is the kind of bezel that you need cuz where else you’re going to hold the tablet the weight though the weight of this is going to blow your away I can’t believe how thin and light this is this is crazy all right let’s go ahead and set this up and then we’ll walk through some of the features Talk Amongst yourselves all right yall so we back in now we got a quick update on Deck so in the meantime let’s do a quick comparison with the previous iPad Pro now in the side note I’m more of a Galaxy Tab kind of guy so I don’t really use the iPads too much but after checking both of these out I noticed I was being a little bit dramatic okay it’s not that much lighter okay you could definitely feel a significance in the weight but it doesn’t feel like this is a brick and this is a piece of paper but you can tell that this one is definitely thinner and lighter as far as the actual thinness you can see for yourself you know it’s not mindblowing okay I like I said I was being a little dramatic it’s not mind-blowing if you got the previous version of the iPad it’s going to feel very similar it’s going to feel very similar but if you never used an iPad in the wild this one is going to feel super thin and lightweight now one thing I did notice the cameras okay they removed the camera so now you got a single camera with the light off versus the older one that had dual cameras now that kind of makes sense because I don’t really see nobody walking around shooting videos with the iPad so the camera is not that important but come on at this price range I hate when they take away something so they took away the Apple stickers and they took away a whole camera that’s kind of crazy but as far as the bezels as you can see for yourself let’s goe and turn this one back on bezels look about the same okay both of these got some juicy bezels not too bad though not too bad all right let’s finish doing this update all right so we still doing the update so in the meantime let’s take a look at the Apple magic keyboard now this one is going to run you 350 bucks let’s go and check this one out okay one more okay Apple magic keyboard tree fitty all right for yall lockness monsters out there tree fitt okay here it is now inside the nice felt material okay what’s that velvet okay A little velvet on the inside and here it is now you got the big aluminium handrest o and it feels nice and cold okay excellent key travel okay you got all your hot keys on the top but my biggest thing that I never liked about the magic keyboard it doesn’t open all the way up it opens right here and then you can tilt it that’s it okay okay no fingerprints nice aluminium hinge on the back okay pass through charging USB type-c Apple logo cut out for your camera real nice and juicy now let’s see if this works on the old iPad okay doesn’t look like it I don’t think so it it’s not a quick magnetic snap like it doesn’t fit correctly now let me show you something let me just check one thing real quick hold up all right so I just grabbed my old magic keyboard just so we can do a quick comparison now this is a paking case that I got stuck on here on the inside let’s see it looks about the same but this aluminium I handr it definitely feels better and you got the hot keys on the top you notice with this one no hot Keys now you got your hot keys so you got screen brightness you got search you got your mic you got playing pause volume up and down lock Escape that’s a nice touch let’s see as far as the weight now I can’t take this case off because it’s actually stuck to the back but this case did give you a built-in handle and some carbon fiber look I like that but I will say this I would definitely go with the new one just for the hot keys and this aluminium handrest I like how that feels all right so let’s go and try this one out all right now there’s a couple of things I wanted to mention I wanted to show yall the brand new apple pencil Pro but as you can see UPS played me with my delivery so I have that by the time I do the full review now I’m not going to turn this into a big Android versus iOS video but here’s why I like the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra way better than anything that Apple has ever produced first of all look at the display size do I even need to say anything look at the difference in the size not to mention the bezels are smaller with the tab you got way more features you got face unlock and a fingerprint sensor you got more cameras on the front and on the rear you got the Bluetooth S Pen and even with the keyboard case you see if I put it on the bottom just make sure I got these pins l up just like that you open this flap up on the bottom and you can rock it like this but at the same time I can close this and flip it all the way over or just simply detach it and the keyboard case does light up as well so personally I like the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra a little bit better but we’re going to go into this with a completely open mind so fresh out of the gate you do got face unlock which Apple does instantaneously let’s do three roll there’s two we do one more okay now I’m not going to look at it okay it didn’t unlock as soon as I look over let’s try that again bang there’s your face ID so the face ID does work and now they moved it into the landscape orientation now I still got some apps loading up in the background so I’m not going to do too much right now let’s drop this uh case on real quick let’s see how the keyboard board case works okay now this one fits right on there’s no one in your contacts named kayin oh calm down sir calm down calm down all right oh watch this yall see the swipes still work I love this aluminium it’s nice and cold though okay let’s see can I open up anything that’s safe let’s go to there nothing nothing safe on it we go to reminders all right new okay now I don’t know if y can see this let me move the camera up a little bit okay all right so we got screen brightness let’s do search okay we got search got the mic do not disturb okay you got your playing pause for your YouTube videos volume up and down and we can lock okay everything works with this and you fold it back up my biggest gripe is I just wish it opened all the way up and overlapped okay you see that face unlock excellent let’s check um let’s check the pass through charging okay let me grab a charger real quick we got USB type-c on the bottom okay there it is all right you see it’s charging up so you got pass through charging that’s pretty dope that’s pretty dope all right let’s play with some more stuff now this is not going to be a full review I just want to test out some of the basic stuff but let’s see how YouTube videos look now here’s the brand new iPad here’s the previous version let’s hit play at the same time okay now let’s see here’s the old version whenever I see iPads and especially this one right here with this thinness and lightness y’all remember Star Trek when used to when Spock used to walk up to Kirk and be like yo we got to fill out some information used to give him that little tablet and it was actually a computer when I was a kid I needed that I wanted that so bad and this is it this is real life right here this is pretty dope all right let’s see we got the picture and picture of course okay you can put it to the side like that and we’ll go full screen now I want to show yall one more thing all right now just in case you want the fence and you don’t know which tablet to get here’s the iPad Pro 2024 here’s the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra let’s hit play on the same video now this is the speakers from the Galaxy it’s how it looks versus the iPad now for me like I said I just use tablets to watch videos let’s go to turn this down cuz um these speakers are also ridiculous the wrong button hold let me turn this down there it is I’m press it up for me I like to use tablets for basic stuff like watching YouTube videos and look how this looks in full screen now let’s do the iPad here’s the iPad now iPad you could go you could zoom in like this we’ll skip a little let’s skip to some um colorful stuff okay look at that there’s the fishies okay it’s going to look great like that let’s skip a little bit more this I was outside doing the town all right hold up let’s let’s skip a little bit more because this is what you want to see when you’re watching your videos this how you want it to look now here’s on the Galaxy look at this man I’m telling you I know I’m such a Galaxy Fanboy but this is so crazy now I’ll just go ahead and prop this right here all right I can look at that handsome face for a minute and this is the iPad now the iPad is significantly lighter okay now that’s something you got to keep in mind you don’t want to be walking around with a big giant heavy tablet this is going to be more your speak but when it comes to just the visuals all right just the visuals the brightness I got to go with the Galaxy I got to go with the Galaxy let’s try the speakers on this one more time all right look at those speakers quad speakers sounding nice and Loud okay let’s get to turn that down again and we’ll try the Galaxy speakers one more time let’s see iPad speakers might sound a little Fuller let’s see let’s see matter of fact we could do a little test right here cuz I know a lot of y’all debating on which tablet to get oh yeah definitely yall hear this [Music] iPad speakers definitely sound better going turn it down for a second yeah iPad speaker sound better but which display do you like [Music] better two beastly tablets right here anyway let’s keep it moving all right so here’s a quick test with the web browsing speed now we got the new iPad versus the previous generation we do a little voice search go to apple.com okay both popped up just as fast look at that okay now I do like the the brightness better even though they both both 16600 nits it does look a little bit better on the new iPad you can see for yourself okay look at the color let’s um exit out of both of these let’s take it over to Facebook okay now let’s see if I get a fresh refresh at the same time okay all right so here’s how your Facebook is going to look okay again you can see the brightness it looks a little bit better on the new iPad definitely and that’s me double fisting drinks like a douchebag both of them nice and smooth though now of course you got split screen multitasking which I don’t understand why they don’t have on iPhones but they have on iPads I could be watching a video okay I can take it over to Facebook we could do split view like this okay have two apps going at the same time all right keep it moving or we could do side over they need to have this on iPhones immediately now as far as the camera pretty basic you got time lapse you got slow motion you got video which goes all the way up to 4K 60 frames per second on the rear 1080p 60 frames per second on the front and for your photos you can zoom in up to five times Zoom now you do have portrait mode and square for the front facing camera little test shot real quick okay there it is decent camera but we’ll put it to the test now we got to do one last test and this is the thing that a lot of people gonna be using this tablet for social media Instagram Tik Tock here’s the brand new iPad let’s take it over to Instagram now you do have two different views okay and it’s a lot of a lot of black bars now just for comparison here’s the Galaxy and this is exactly why I love the alaxy look at Instagram all right look at the difference of Instagram 50 out here trolling let’s see let’s scroll down some more okay we get to the same post actually let’s let’s go to my page where it’s nice and safe okay let’s um here it is look at the difference of Instagram all right look at the difference right I get to my last all now if you want to sit around watch some videos all day on Instagram look at the difference that’s kind of crazy let’s exit out of both of these now let’s go to let’s try Tik Tock okay let me turn this down all right here’s Tik Tock look at Tik Tok on the Galaxy versus the iPad now with the iPad it is full screen okay that is a good thing if you’re a big Tik Tock head okay what was going on there what was going on there this how your Tik Tok is going to look okay but here’s how it looks on the Galaxy it’s just crazy let’s see what the Galaxy you switch over sideways now you got bars let’s switch over sideways oh wait a minute switch over sideways no Tik Tock in landscape mode are you kidding me no Tik Tock and landscape mode on your iPad wow I didn’t know that that’s how much I use Tik Tok though all right so if you’re using Tik Tok you’re gonna have to hold it like this at least with the Galaxy you got multiple viewing angles of Tik Tok you know what I’m saying like I said I’m such a Galaxy fan boy it hurts it hurts let’s try Instagram one more time okay we’ll go back to Instagram now Instagram you can rotate okay you can rotate on both okay but this is how it looks the Instagram ah the experience and you see this is why I don’t use whoa whoa whoa whoa this is why I don’t use the iPads that much because I’m I’m a simple guy okay I’m not going to be editing videos let’s exit it I’m not going to be editing videos on my tablet even though for this Real review I’ll do some editing I’ll use Final Cut I I’ll I’ll put this M4 processor um power to the test but for basic stuff all right the basic stuff that you’re going to be doing your scumbag activities all right watching your scumbag videos you know what I’m saying this is what it’s going look look at that look at this cat this cat is living the life this cat is living life now you can zoom in matter of fact all right Calvin you can zoom in if you need to right oh what’s this okay we got the boom 2 plus the boom 2 plus I already got one of those what am I talking about all right anyway yeah but you see the difference for yourself all right let’s exit back you know if you want to do the zoom test you can zoom in look look at me looking like a boss right here you know on the iPad it’s just a different experience it’s it’s a different experience man I don’t know I don’t know and this is what makes me not want to use the iPad because like I said I just like doing basic stuff basic stuff however I will say for the basic stuff Department the the the the level the level of weight the level of weight now one thing I did notice also I got my old apple pencil it’s not working with this one I’m not even getting to charge animation we’ll see as you can see for yourself though it is it is working it works with this one see when I I always pick these up backwards all you see when I click it to the side you get the little animation now it does work but I’m pretty sure that with this one we’re going to need the updated apple pencil or I might have to just repair it or something I don’t know I don’t really be using Apple pencils too much but again this is another thing now I do like the thickness of the apple pencil a little bit better than the thin the thin S Pen of the Galaxy but the Galaxy S Pen is the Bluetooth S Pen you know [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] the videos Apple need the ketchup and add the Bluetooth to the apple pencil but I do like the size of it this one I rather write if I had to write a whole long letter or something I’d rather write it with this but it’s weird that you got Facebook Okay full screen okay Instagram bars and hash bars D DeMarco and the crazy thing is you would think that Instagram was made for iOS at first what is this optimization this optimization is garbage I don’t like it but anyway enough about me let’s talk about me I’m going to do a full review on this one by the time I do that let’s check one more time let me see yeah apple pencil still out for delivery still out for delivery so by the time I do my full review we’ll have all of the goodies on Deck I’ll learn how to use all of this stuff completely I’m going to put my Galaxy Tab down as hard as that is going to be to do I’m going to put the Galaxy Tab down and we’re going to focus on this one also we’ll test the keyboard brightness on this one because this one does have light up keys but I love this keyboard oo look at that key travel this how I type in real life while I’m drinking a bit okay and you got the home Keys oh look at that lock the tablet lock and unlock just like that now one thing about iOS the face unlock you see how far that is I’m I’m barely even looking at this that’s excellent Face Unlock right there okay and you can use the trackpad
