Amitabh Bachchan has been enjoying the success of his recently released film Kalki 2898 AD.
Amitabh Bachchan recently shared a video on his Instagram account that he thought was from his 1991 film Agneepath. The veteran actor compared it to a recent video of himself running away from the camera. Big B opened up about the hustle and bustle he faces even at the age of 81.
However, soon after the video was shared, netizens pointed out that the clip was not from Amitabh’s Agneepath but from his other film Akayla. Considering the same, Bachchan also issued an apology on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Apologies… that picture I posted of Agneepath running… is wrong! It’s from AKAYLA. Thank you, well-wishers.”
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan has been basking in the success of his recently released film Kalki 2898 AD. He recently took to his Instagram account to share a picture in which he is seen hanging from a wire while a structure resembling a hand was held in front of him. There were also a lot of lights hanging down. “Errr… KALKI at work! Umm… just hanging around,” his caption read.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has started shooting for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Last week, the Bollywood superstar took to his X account (formerly known as Twitter) and shared the first picture from the set of the game show. In the black and white image, Big B is seen opening his arms as he seemingly welcomed the audience to the new season of the show. “T 5082 – BACK to KBC Season 16,” he wrote.
Amitabh Bachchan has been the host of KBC since its inception in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan. During the latest episode of KBC 15, Big B got emotional as he said, “Devi aur Sajjano, ab hum jaa rahe aur kal se yeh manch ab nahi sajega. We told ourselves that from yesterday we will not come here, we don’t have the courage to say it and we don’t have the courage to say it. I am Amitabh Bachchan for this period, from this stage I am going to say Shubraatri.”
KBC 16 was announced in April this year when the show’s creators revealed a promo and announced that registrations were open. However, the official premiere date of KBC 16 is not yet known.
