The latest reports have created a buzz suggesting that Ultimate Star Ajith Kumar will be collaborating with acclaimed Indian director Prashanth Neel for two back-to-back films. Neel, known for his blockbusters ‘KGF’ and ‘Salaar’, has a packed schedule of big projects like Prabhas’ ‘Salaar 2’, Jr NTR’s ‘Dragon’ and Yash’s ‘KGF Chapter 3’.
On Wednesday, multiple sources reported that Prashanth Neel would direct Ajith Kumar in ‘AK 64’ and ‘AK 65’. As per this rumour, ‘AK 64’ was expected to be a standalone project, while ‘AK 65’ would kick off the Prashanth Neel Cinematic Universe, with its climax leading to ‘KGF 3’. However, Ajith Kumar’s manager Suresh Chandra addressed these speculations in an interaction with Hindustan Times.
Suresh Chandra clarified, “It’s not true. Ajith and Prashanth Neel met recently and exchanged pleasantries. They have the utmost regard for each other, but no film was discussed during their meeting. I would love to see Ajith with Prashanth, but I don’t see anything happening in the near future.” He added that Ajith Kumar is currently focused solely on ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ and ‘Good Bad Ugly’.
