Bollywood actors Tabu and Shah Rukh Khan have enthralled audiences ever since their brief but memorable pairing in SaathiyaHowever, despite fans eagerly awaiting their reunion, it has yet to materialize.
Tabu admits she turned down films with Shah Rukh Khan after Saathiya release: “I’m sure he has turned down a few too”
In a recent interview with Galatta India, Tabu addressed the much-debated question of why she and SRK have not collaborated on another project. The actress clarified that she has no control over the films that are offered to either of them. “I am not a producer, I am not a director, I am not a scriptwriter, I am not really dictating who Shah Rukh Khan works with,” she explained.
While acknowledging the numerous requests from fans for their on-screen reunion, Tabu revealed that there were instances when potential projects did not materialise. “I know what I have turned down and I am sure he has turned down a few too. Aisa kuchh hua nahin ke our paths crossed,” she shared.
The actress also recalled her experience filming the iconic song. ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ for Shah Rukh Khan’s film, Om Shanti Om. Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, Tabu expressed her gratitude for the generous gifts she received from the superstar. “A lot of people want to see us together. There was one shot that we all did. I did it for Farah and yes, it was a lot of fun. I got some cool clothes made, fantastic hair and makeup, and we got very expensive gifts from Shah Rukh Khan,” she said.
