In the interview, Vishal revealed, “It happened with a celebrity couple. Just two months after their wedding, the groom was caught cheating. His wife caught him in a compromising situation with a Bollywood actress in her makeup van on a film set. She caught him red-handed and told him, ‘I don’t want to film our wedding.'”
Vishal shared how the situation unfolded, saying, “I tried to reach out to the groom but he didn’t pick up. When I called the bride, she said, ‘Don’t talk to me, I don’t want the wedding film! ’ Desperate for a solution, I called the groom’s manager who simply said, ‘Bro, it’s not going to be made, we don’t want the film. ’ At that point, I wondered what to do with the footage. Should I sell it to Netflix? This incident made me change the terms of my contract – I now charge 100% upfront because weddings are about the heart, marriage, life and family.”
Despite the drama, Vishal decided not to press the couple for the rest of the money. He still has the footage, which he says contains some painfully ironic moments. “In the film, the groom cries and says, ‘I love you, darling.’ These are fake crocodile tears. He’s a big Bollywood actor, but I’m not going to name names. The value of that footage is in millions; it could easily be a comedy film. I could sell it and make a fortune,” Vishal revealed, looking straight into the camera and adding, “You know who you are!”
